Just got the latest issue of the mag. Nice article on the Thomas Flyer! Great to see something a bit different to the usual modern stuff.
Been looking at my family tree and thinking that I've built very little from my grandparents era. Brilliant timing Rich. I've seen the Flyer kit a few times and passed it by. AMT kits can be really finely detailed but quite a few are pretty clunky and need a bit of work. And the parts fit........................well, they fit where they touch!
Did the job though. Made me dig out the Airfix oldies and have another look. Nice job although you're right about the colour I think. I'm sure it's a very light, fairly warm grey. The fabric mud shields look like whitish canvas or sail-cloth to me. Anyway, good work and a nice subject choice. Dave
