Hi Guys, i have just purchased 100ml of the premixed clearcoat, and am now wondering as to weather to use it or not. Haveing just read Ians thread of the Lambo build, i have to be honest and say i read with dismay his comments of the two pack clearcoat, is this he same as the pre-mixed stuff. My original intention was to spray this in the garage with the door wide open and wearing a vapour/partical mask, would this be okay or do i have to wear protective goggles and gloves.i know you have to take precauctions, but my budget wont run to a full extractor unit. If this stuff is that bad i think i will just use Halfords clear. Dave

Just make sure you don't breath the fumes and wear gloves.
I'd try and make sure the breeze is behind you!

I would suggest that you take the same precautions as you would with maybe enamel or cellulose based paints.
Hiro are usually very clear on their recommendations and with all H&S issues, the user needs to take the appropriate actions to minimize the risk, and what is quite often forgotten on these things, use a bit of common sense?

Thanks Guys, i do take precautions always wear a vapour particle mask, but this stuff seems a little above the norm, what other clear coats do you guys use that would seem a bit more user freindly. Dave
