Looking for some advise on color schemes hopefully camo used by the Russians..My only research so far came up with black and white photos with limited camo 2 tone? and some color overall green/grey finish..Any more info or references will be greatly appreciated,

As far as I can work out, most Soviet vehicles in Afghanistan started in basic 'Russian Green' and had light sand bands sprayed over that in a fairly haphazard fashion.

Best reference I can find is the old Concord Publications book called "Armor of the Afghanistan War".
