I was given a part started Fujimi P4 with the Renaissance upgrade set. As I already had this kit unbuilt in my stash, I put the Renaissance stuff with that. Here is the part started kit finished as a road car (yes, it would be a bitch to take down to Tesco's!!) I stripped it in oven cleaner and painted it with a mix of nail polish and lacquer thinner. Pretty much out of the box apart from a P/E wiper and some of those soft vinyl badges. Just need to add number plates, mylar mirror faces and do a little bit of highlighting exterior bolt heads and it is done.

Not sure if it is fact Mylar and I am not sure where it came from. It is small squares (about 5cm X5cm) of pliable mirror faced plastic. One of the elderly members of our club is always bringing stuff to the meetings inc wire of all diameters, 35mm film plastic containers and even petri-dishes! Geoff gave me these squares about 7 or 8 years IIRC. If I can find out where he got them from I will let you know.
Steve.
