Hi while at Stoneleigh show I bought the new Tamiya Citroen Traction 11CV. I had read on the net that there was a problem with a gap at the rear between the rear seat and the shell of the vehicle. Today I found out just how bad it is and solved all in less than an hour . You need two pieces of 5th plastic card cut to the following 34mm long by 5 mm one edge and the other 6mm . This gives a slant to the pieces . Glue slant side into the outer edge of the mudguard on the inside . Do not glue it to the inside of the car . You need to be able to remove the shell of the car . Leave to set and then you need a an arc of the same plastic card to cover the edge of the sheet , again leave to dry and then it is a case of making a milliput sausage 2 mm in dia and 2o mm long . With the top of the car placed on the chassis but not glued . Run the milliput into the gap between the rear seat and the wall of the car , smooth with a wet finger and leave to dry . See photo of the start of the work , cheers ian

Ah, deja-vu, I found similar problems with the 1:48 variety; very fiddly indeed to correct, and the cause of some serious frustration trying to fill those gaps inside the rear mud guards. Otherwise a nice little kit though.

Hi All the grill should be chrome finish . I came up with this easy way of doing it , No painting involved. You need a silver pen , The one I used is Pentel K108 Hybrid roller , no idea of price as I bought it many years ago. Since I do not know how long it will take to dry I am leaving mine at least a week and I will get back to you cheers ian
