That's a fairly diverse collection Dingo. One of the things I like about your work, is that you're not afraid to try something new. Thanks for sharing your work with us.

Hi Dingo I guess the term expensive is relative. There are far more expensive hobbies and past times out there, you could belong to a golf club for instance.
The one BIG factor in favour of our chosen way to spend time is that in general terms it is affordable. We can chose how much to throw at a kit, for instance in some respects it's easier to buy the extras these days rather than try to do it ourselves, but we could go 'back to basics' if we chose to.
For what in the scheme of things is a modest outlay for say a 1/24 car kit, the time spent and the enjoyment and challenge gained from building it makes it good value in my book. I've seen people put the same amount of money into a fruit machine in a matter of minutes with nothing to show for it.

Rich, I couldn't agree more with U on the expense part when I was younger and working I put all my spare money into this hobby and bought what ever I could but of course back then after market parts where a thing that was few & far between and they cost a bomb but now the only thing stopping me is that dreaded money thing as i said in my opening thread Rich that as an Australian Pensioner I'm limited by what we have after household expenses have been dealt with but I rarely complain?? oh yea do complain sometimes well alot but hey that's my thing and I'm allowed to do that. Cars that R not a part of this display R Kerin's 1/43rd scale stuff and some of mine as well maybe soon I will add them as well. Dingo
