This is an IPMS (UK) Special Interest Group dedicated to the Hawker Siddley/British Aerospace/BAE Systems Hawk Advanced Jet Training Aircraft. The Aircraft first flew in 1974 and is today in service with the air arms of 18 countries around the world.
The initial aims of the SIG are: 1. To act as a focal point for IPMS (UK) Members interested in the Hawk AJT. 2. To retain and share information regarding the history, operation, camouflage and markings of the aircraft. 3. To build and display models of the aircraft at UK model shows.
I'm sure this list will grow as we gain more members and discuss ideas.
The SIG does not charge a membership fee, as we are not yet producing Newsletters etc. This may be subject to change in the future if there is a requirement for photocopying, postage etc.
Rest assured, any such costs will be minimised to cover the expense of producing such items and will only be payable by those specifically requesting hard copies.
Drop me a line if you are interested in joining, along with your IPMS Membership number.
Cheers,
Rob Monfea Hawk AJT SIG Leader.

Hi Rob,
You might get a bit more interest if you opened it out to a Jet trainer sig, with the new buckeye & alpha jet due out soon.
Even I might be interested then........ ;D
Cheers,
Dave

Say's the man from the Canberra SIG! Just want to keep it Hawk for now as that is what my Special Interest is in! Between here and a couple of other forums I nearly have enough interest anyway. Cheers, Rob
