When I bought this model I didn't notice that it was a snaptite and a curbside kit as I really didn't look at the box I just picked it up along with another kit and bought it, but I'm glad I did as it was a change from building cars with motors. It was already painted so I dip/rolled it in Future Floor Shine the same way the car builders did in the 60's, 70's & early 80's and it works well. The antennas are hypodermic needles either from my wife ( cleaned and sterilized or bought brand new from our chemist (Drug Store) shop. Hope U like my cop car. Dingo

Hi Dingo This process is still very much in vogue, in fact over the past few years the aero modellers have caught up on this product too! Used extensively for a sealant coat before applying decals and for canopies to add additional shine. It's also supposed to help prevent fogging when using CA glues. Biggest issue has been around either a reformulation of the prodcut or the dropping of the line altogether in favour of a slightly diffrent one. Nice job by the way ;D Rich
