Dear All,
Having been looking at the subject of Forward Air Control in Vietnam/Laos, have come across the subject of C123K's being used at night as forward air control aircraft.
What I am asking for is,
Has any one got any photos/information about these aircraft.....?
Was there a model made of the C123K? Any one know where I can get one...? 1/72 or 1/48.
They were camouflaged, but painted Black underneath, possibly with some sort of sensor under the nose. The mission call sign was Candlestick.
Colin

Ay up Colin, It's a fascinating story to be sure ! I quite like the Mach 2 kit but it absolutely needs the replacement canopy from this set... www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=FNCV4372There is another 1/72 C-123 produced by Magna models which I believe is quite nice but I don't think I've seen one built up, here at the The Aviation Hobby shop.... MAG6772 Fairchild C-123 Provider dok £69.86 And a range of 1/144 kits by AModel which look pretty good..... www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=AMU14407Don't know about any other scales I'm afraid ! Cheers, Haydn.
