Rather short notice as I thought SMW was another 2 weeks away. I'm thinking about doing the buying for the PR7 at SMW10 on Saturday, although I've missed the cut-off for Hannants now. It seems to me I have the following options from my earlier thread: 1) A2Zee allegedly have a PR3/7 conversion kit but I've not seen this anywhere outside of this post on Britmodeller 2) CSK says wings from a B(I)8 and extend a B2 fuselage. Airfix kit A10101 says it's also a B(I)6. Do I still need 2 kits or does the B(I)6 have all the bits I need now. 3) Classic Airframes apparently used to do a PR7 but they're now defunct or at least the website is. 4) Start with a B57 as the fuselage is easier to convert. So apart from the basic airframe, what resin/brass detail sets are there to be recommended? Also, are there any decent books on the PR7 especially anything on RAF Wytton?

Steve, I think your best bet is to print out the plan of the show c/w traders positions which is available on the main site, click on the link: www.ipms-uk.co.uk/smw_index.htm formulate a plan of attack, arrive at SMW early, wear comfy shoes and take your time. See you there.

For some odd reason, SAM keep sending me issues and the last open contains the plan. I'll just pull it out of there.
If I can get the plan of attack for the basic airframe down, I'm quite happy to wander around and see what else is available.
Always best to get there early too just for the parking.

Come and have a chat at the Recce SIG table, or the Canberra SIG table. John Sheehan or Colin Shipton-Knight.... Can give you a few tips. Also got info, and possibly decals. Will try to take my CA Canberra PR7 build with me. Colin
