Dear All, SMW 2010, is now only 364 days away! Thinking ahead... How about a 'Theme' for SMW 2010.....? I have discussed this with some of you, and I must apologise to those of you I did not manage to get to talk to about this, but It has been suggested numerous times in the past... I thought it might be an interesting challenge to try and build towards a theme! Obviously, any theme would have to be broad enough to encompass all of our interests. So I think I may have come up with one that all of us could have a go at, hopefully..? Here it comes..... How about, Reconnaissance,'Made in the USA'........  Does not have to be 100% American, does not have to be in USA colours, just essentially 'Made in the USA'... Thoughts...? Colin |

Dear All,
Assuming the theme meets with universal approval.....?
Bearing in mind I have avoided USA aircraft so far....
My build list will be,
VNAF O1
USAF O1
Laos O1
O2 'THE FAC' in Black
O2 'THE FAC' in White
OV10, USAF light Grey
OV10, USAF Dark Grey
RB 26, not quite sure which yet.
OV1D, Grey
and possibly a Skyraider, not Recce, but I like the aircraft, and space permitting it would fit with FAC's......
All 1/48 obviously.

You got any links to info and pics of that one Larry?? Julien Nope, that is a hard bird to find pics (or detailed info) of.  The only photo I ever saw, that allegedly was the XBT2D-1P, was incorrect. You could tell by reading the BuNo and the tail ID. Larry |

If we are going to do FAC aircraft then it gives me an excuse to build my F-4E "Chico The Gunfighter" acted as a fast FAC carrying 2 x 20mm gunpods in place of the Sgt Fletcher tanks.
Also have an really old conversion for doing a Neptune AP-2H this was part recon part attack.
I have many other made in the USA kits, just depends how many I can possibly build. Got a couple of U-2's and 4 conversions for the RF-8 in 1.48!
