Sounds good. Had you thought of publishing your reference material as a book in its own right? Would be a godsend to all those who are intendng to model an OY - regardless of scale.

I do intend to write an article for the IPMS magazine about the project and also have a blow by blow account on here. It's been suggested that I write about what goes into the production of a kit, how the masters are made and the parts cast. Well, I've actually done it before in Scale Models International several years ago, and the subject? ... Brian Fawcett and the Accurate Armour Scammell Tank Transporter.

I take it that it is a very pleasant read. What is the content like? Very comprehensive? Good on the tech drawings side?
That cover photo is a cracker. I only ever got the front wheels of the ground doing offroad practice on Salsbury Plains and that was only cause there was another 6 solidly planked on the ground cresting the 1:2 slopes in the 8x6 DROPS.
Great fun

Nige, excellent read, not many tech drawings though. Lots of photos of wartime, civilian, postwar and modern (ish) Bedford trucks. Some interesting stuff and loads of conversion ideas for the O' series kit. I'll bring it with me to Perth.

Howard Whitehead of Kit Form Services has introduced a range of 1/24th scale military vehicle multi medium kits. Maybe an approach and suggestion to him may be an idea for an after market conversion kit for the OB. He has vast experience of producing conversion kits for the truck fraternity, so he may be interested if approached and he thinks it viable to make.

Noel, I had a word with Howard at SMW as he handed over his latest Bedford. There will be a military front end for the Emhar kit, but not from Howard, the project will have a Czech lable, more news when I have it.
