I would like to see a decent 1940's dennis Fire engine The airfix kit needs so much extra work The Airfix kit is horrendous. The 1/16 Bandai kit, although more expensive was a better rendition of a 1914 Dennis N' type. Both kits were modelled on the City of Coventry pump DU 179 (now preserved), which incidentally never carried a wheeled escape. Paul Slade of Fire Brigade Models has a range of over 100 1/48 fire appliance kits including 1940's appliances. There may be a possibility in a year or so of a 1950's Dennis F24 in 1/24, the first pump I rode as a fireman in 1974, 1786 KC. Unfortunately she, along with several other vehicles of the fleet were put to the torch in the early 80's.

I'd like a metal replacement undercarriage for my new Revell 1/32 Eurofighter Typhoon!
