Well it's finally under way but not without a few problems like, now get this I hit it with Tamiyas Sky Blue paint mixed 50/50 with Tamiyas Thinners but as you can it turned out more flat than shiny so I got out my old trusty rattle can sky blue house paint and blam hit it with that now it's shines. Even though it looks shiny it's flat paint Why??? Oh yea I don't know why but I put the plastic windows in before painting wish I hadn't now got one hell of job cleaning 'em. The lapTop in place , the object below it will become a TerraTrip unit. The roll cage barwork has been bent and is now in position but not shown here. Aoshima should have made this and engine car not a curbside as it is one heck of a good kit. Dingo

Well it's almost finished with the paint being done, abit disappointed that the windscreen ended up so scrappy with paint bleed through and other silly things that happened during the painting oh well adds to the safari feel of the car. The bar work was a real pain to do but at least the lights worked out sort of OK I still have two (2) big light to put on it and they will be done next month when I order them but for now please enjoy my Rally Raid Pajero. Well I've finished it as far as I'm going to go with this thing all I want to do now is weather it to make it look like a well driven rally raider that it should be , due to leaving the magic tape on too long the windows look like they've got glue on them but they ain't, so please don't go saying the windows R all full of glue & finger prints it's the stupid tape I use. Well nough said bout that here R the finished photos before weathering. Co-Drivers side with laptop navigation Drivers side and yes I know there is not a lot of window treatment forgotten in my hast to get this model finished but I can do it at a later stage and probably will even the mirrors have been missed. Brian, would love to do that England is my ancestrile home, my mother came from County Durham up north unfortunately my father was born and bred in Broken Hill New South Wales the son of a miner and one of abouth 7 or 8 in the family his side is not all that bright but my mothers side well that's a whole heap different going back a 100yrs or so as they say her grand father or great grand father I can't remember which was the owner of the Dunedin?? Line but jumped ship and threw it all away when power took over from sail and the family fortune went down with the ship which is another saying. Anyways getting back to going to a cooler climate if U could comvince Kerin that the U.K. is the palce to be and that it would help her migraine headaches and if U could sponsor a 60 yr old Emigrant I'd be there wit me ears back what with all those cheaper truck & car models and the after market parts being heaps cheaper as well man I'd be on the next plane.
