This is my 1/72 Hunter FR.10, which started life as the Revell F.6 kit, gained the Quickboost Mk. 9 tailfeathers, and a scratched camera nose. I modified the nose to the camera configuration by applying a bit of clear sprue to a flattened nose cone: Then I added Milliput to fair it in, and drilled out the camera windows. The final product used Xtradecals sheet 72047 to represent an FR.10 XJ633/S of II(AC)Sqn, at Gutersloh, early 1960s. I had to rob the old Airfix kit to get the 230 Gal tanks for the inboard pylons. I still need to add the sway braces to the big tanks. Enjoy. -DG

Yes Colin, I build recce, maritime, and electronic warfare types as my primary interest, always in 1/72. I have an Italeri RF-84F and Hasegawa 1/72 F-16 with recce pod underway right now. Here is some of my past work. Airfix U-2A Esci Harrier GR.3 with recce pod Esci RF-104G with the oversized PD Models Orpheus pod: DG

You don't see pictures or kits for 2Sqn Hunters very often, I most associate the squadron with Swifts, Phantoms and Jaguars
My Swift FR5 will be in 2Sqn markings.
