:)Greetings to my fellow P (Plastic) addicts.
Have only just discovered your website so here I am. My name is Grant. My forte is ships however I like to throw into the fray the odd flying thingy and AFV every now and then. My current ships subject is modern Russian. I have built Trumpeter's 1:350 Sovremenny, Mosvka, Admiral Panteleyev(currently under construction) and have their new Varag which is next on the builders slipway. All ships are built with additional photo-etch (White Ensign or Gold Medals) I have also completed a vast array of modern US as well.
Am anxiously awaiting the release of Airfix's Illustrious. As we are the last to get things down here in the deep south if anyone obtains the kit a first impressions posting would be great.
When I am not modeling or working I am out on the water as a Coastguard Search and Rescue Master. We even have an ex RNLI Vessel as our primary rescue craft.
Have fun modeling!!!

Hello Grant and welcome to the forums. I don't know how I missed this post, my sincere apologies. The comment about the RNLI craft is interesting, I have always maintained that if I was ever to win a substantial amount of money, the RNLI would benefit, how the hell can we live on an island and have the offshore rescue services services paid for by donation, ludicrous. I'd be interested in photographs of any Coastguard or rescue vehicles vehicles you may come across.

... Greetings fellow Grant. I am also a adípto to plastic models. But I'm also keen on introducing other materials to make models. as wood, metal, acrylic resins ect. Regarding naval models, I just built a boat. On a scale 1 / 10. Greetings and have fun. ... Jorge. ;D
