Has this company gone bust as here in Australia we are finding it increasingly harder to get, after my problems with trying to air brush Tamiya chrome silver I thought I'd go to my LHS and buy a alclad black and silver paint only to be told haven't got any and can't get any and don't try anywhere else as it the same all round Oz, what's going on . Hi Dingo. I'm not aware of any problems, but what it may be is a clamping down on shipping paints. I've read elsewhere that some courier services are now refusing to carry them, and they may even now be declared as 'hazardous goods'. Even acrylics are getting hit.
However, it must be said it would be nice to see something more official from somewhere rather than hearsay.

Hum it seems to be a problem that's more than just company supply Rich oh well I'll stick to Tamiya, funny thing is that after writing this thread I sat down and pulled my air brush apart and although I'd been cleaning it using all the right cleaning fluids etc I'd never actually pulled the dam thing apart and given it a good clean so I did just that I didn't use any fluid or liquid I just gave the thing a wipe with a dry cloth all over put it back together again went outside connected it to the air compressor set it at around 15-20psi and bingo the thing worked so I have now given my Nomad a hit of silver check out the WIP of the car in that area. There is no problem with Alclad, either here, or in the USA. Edgar

I spoke to the owner of Alclad, yesterday, and his Australian importer is Frontline Hobbies; try them. Edgar
