I've got an EFE AEC with an Ergomatic cab that is going to get chopped down from a rigid to become a tractor/shunter. Not based on any particular vehicle/operator but happen to have one and I couldn't think of anything else to do with it!
Weathering and detailing a 1/76 scale model could be interesting (and I thought plumbing/wiring in 1/50 was exciting).
I trust that the small scale is acceptable?

Brian, bring it on matey. Detailing a 1/76 shunter ... my eyes are just about adjusted to 1/24 - 1/25, but I've got a plan, a stock of 1/12 and 1/16 kits, oh and a very nice Pocher which keeps calling to me.

I'll be in on the truck shunter bit I have a kit in mind BUT won't say what it is until I can make sure it's still on the shop shelf. My LHS has a habit of selling truck kits I'm intersted in when I spot it and put it in a place where no one can find it (only kidding on that bit). Might even do a cardstock one how about that. Unless I not looking hard enough what is the finish date of this CBP Dingo

Darn it when I read about a CBP I thought U beaut I can get in on another Build project but then I read again and darn it found that it's only for local builders in the U.K. as the model has to be displayed at some show somewhere down the track, Oh well never mind I'll still build it anyway and put it somewhere else on the forum. MAYBE. Dingo

Nick's right Dingo - you are more than welome to join in the group build if you fancy it. I'm joining in but it looking increasingly unlikely that I will be at SMW this year.

Oh I only just saw this. Go for it, shunters are quite acceptable on the table. Dunno whether I can join in yet, got a lot on my plate at the moment. Maybe closer to Telford.
