... on a mission.
I've been signed off work for another week, seems the bronchial's ain't yet ready for me to go travellin? So, what's first in mind? ... a spot of modelling. I've pulled two kits out of the stash and I'm going to see just how far I can go with building them in a week. The kits are the Italeri Mercedes Benz 2448 (#793) and the Italeri Platform Semi-Trailer (#769). The idea is to build a hauler on a humanitarian mission somewhere in the world, but where?
Will it be dusty and weathered? ... certainly, will it be hard terrain? ... definitely. The rig could be a civilian vehicle, it could alternatively be painted and marked with the red cross. So, where in the world shall we go with this aid?

We did a lot to Yugoslavia in the early 1990s and I had a Powerliner at the time.

I started the build and wanted it to be just about done by the weekend but unfortunately the redesign of the web site / forum and other matters got slightly in the way. I want to depict an aid vehicle somewhere in the world, although it doesn't need to be finished until late June. If anyone has a photograph or two, I'd be interested. The load will probably consist of grain bags and a few other bits.
