Does any one know the colours that these New Zealand helicopters are painted in? Model Alliance give FS36495 as the overall colour, but to me the colour seems more yellowish/brownish in the neighbourhood of FS36555.
Any info appreciated.

Hi Alfie, Thanks for all the effort. This is a photograph I took at this years Warbirds over Wanaka airshow. The colour as observed does not match Humbrol183, althouhj that may be the originally specified colour. Could it be that the FS 26440 is lightly applied over a yellowish basecoat? Regards, Peter

Coincidentally, SAM Publications are covering the Seasprite in the latest issues of MAMI and SAMI... the former has some pics of NZ aircraft and includes a colour profile. Hitting the shops any time now. Unfortunately, as seems to be commonplace of late, there are no colour descriptions accompanying the profiles.... which always strikes me as a missed chance. We all seem to like profiles but they're much less useful without a description of what the colours are!!!
