Have just received my kit from Model Alliance.
Instructions show interior of intakes as being Humbrol 174 Signal Red.
Can anyone confirm that this is correct for the current 4FTS Anniversary Scheme or better still any piccies to show instructions are correct.

I found this site that has loads of clear photographs of the 2010 4 FTS scheme www.rafhawkdisplay.com/downloads.html

However, the intake colours are unclear, but the photos suggest that the intake lips are black (?). There's a 'contact us' link that I'm sure my RAF colleagues at Valley will respond to. If they do, can you post their reply onto this thread, please? I can use it in my next Magazine column (due by 20 June!).

Oh hum...back to writing up reports for my NVQ.

I have to say that it seems extremely unlikely.... and I think someone would have noticed. The intake BLANKS..... now there's another story!

Looks like to intake interiors are Light A/C Grey so either Airfix or Model Alliance are going to have to alter the instructions unless 174 is no longer signal red in the Humbrol range of paints.

Have just stared a couple of Airfix 1/72 Tornados the ones issued before the kit included LRMTS pod next to the u/c doors.
Has anyone got any left over from other Tornado kits they don't want or help me find a supplier.
I dont want to have to buy complete kits as this will defeat the object of trying to clear previous kits out of my stash.
