Very smart - how do you get the smearing effect from the wipers?

What colour paint did you use, and if it wasnt a revell colour, would you happen to know the revell equivalent? Thanks

Colbee, nip into your local Halfords and ask them to mix 'New Rally Blue', it's a perfect match for the WRC Scooby!

I had a can mixed about 5 years ago, cost about £10 although it may be dearer now, I sprayed 3 models from the can and still have some left, excellent value. On top of the paint, I applied two coats of halfords clear laquer, superb finish.

I went into my local Halfords and asked about the paint colour and the first thing they asked me was what was the paint code!. Do you happen to know what it was, or did you just get the paint by name?

I'll nip into the workshop and check out what's on the can, but as far as I remember, I mentioned a Subaru colour 'New Rally Blue', maybe it was just the bloke at the counter knowing what he was talking about?
Quick update ... the writing on the can .. 74F 555 'New Rally Blue' Pearl. Hope that helps, if not, there's half a can left.

I've just done a quick check on the net and 74f is a subaru blue so I would suspect that its correct. Once again a great many thanks to you for your help and the bloke in halford was on a young lad anyway, and seemed pretty clueless

Those two are looking good. When I built mine earlier this year I had paint mixed at Halfords. I had Subaru 02C M119 WRX Mica Blue mixed and after a couple of coats finished off with a clear coat. Have a look and see what you think PS It's not weathered, I just forgot to brush the dust off it!!
