this truck loads every day where i work so i thought id have a go at building it.I have a magnum from a racing team com bow so just add a tag axial and paint...... how wrong was i first the kit comes with a mackv8 and the truck has a dxi straight6 engine then all the air filters and exhaust are in the wrong and on the wrong side of the truck as well as the battery box so a bit more work involved than i thought there was going to be so i am waiting for the conversion parts to get here so i can start

Hi I've never used auslowe parts but his own ones are excellent you should give Howard a phone it might just be a bad casting Keith

Resin always used to be like that. Howard uses an outside caster nowadays which is why his is so good. My FL10 kit was like the dash above all over lol.
I'm not sure who Nigel Lowe uses but if he casts his own then it might well look like that.
Generally you can fill the air holes with drops of superglue.

finally made a start on this i have had to extend the chassis by 10mm to get the lift axil in its the first time i have done this and didnt go as bad as i thought it would the pix also show the lift axils suspension i am working on the axil atm i have taken the disk break and stub axil from a trailer and with a bit of tinkering ill be able to use it for the lift axil breaks all i have done to it is remove the trailer hub plate and then stuck it together in reverse so it now fits a front wheel hub its is not as close to the real thing as i would like but with my skills/tools and money it is as close as im going to get it

Looking good so far as for the dash it must have been a bad cast as I always used Auslowe and never got a bad dash like that, waiting to see the final build. Dingo
