Wimpy Whacky!!!

???Hello all. New to forum so if posting in wrong place soz for bad etiquette (and possibly spelling).
Question.
I have just finished a 1/72nd Trumpeter Mk1c Wellington of No149 sq. circa 1940 and just noticed a door at the tail wheel that I haven't seen in any pics and they are not supplied in kit.
Am I right that the Wimpy didn't have these doors or do I have to scratch build some to complete.
Any and all assistance appreciated.

With reference to the dear gentleman's request, my research would indicate that only the very early Wellington's were fitted with tailwheel doors. The only photograph that I can find that shows any sort of tail wheel door is of L4212 - a prewar Mk I (Crowood page 17). The text states that the Wellington tailwheel was retractable.
