I am pleased to announce that we have successfully booked to hold Southern Expo in 2011 at the usual location
Dates :-
Saturday 19th March
Sunday 20th March
To be held at:-
Hornchurch Sports Centre
Harrow Lodge Park
Hornchurch Road
Hornchurch
Essex
RM11 1JU
We are still working on a decal sheet for next year but Spitfires (not Battle of Britain) should be involved
More details to follow.

Just to announce that Southern Expo 2011 is now fully booked for club and trade space. See here for more information on who's attending and when myweb.tiscali.co.uk/southernexpo/The decal sheet for this year is at the printers and may even arrive in time for the show. It should have the following aircraft types 1 x Spitfire Ia 5 x Spitfire IIa 1 x Spitfire Vb 3 x Me-109E 1 x Me-109F 1 x Me-110 As ever the show special price will be £5. To go with the 1/72nd scale sheets we have also arranged a stock of the 3D-Kits Mk.IIa conversion as a special Expo item. |

As a local, it's worth telling those coming from a distance that the area is currently suffering a severe infestation of roadworks. It should not be a problem, and the show is certainly worth attending, but your usual routes might be disrupted.

and the council took a section of the parking area for their own use so advisable if driving to get there early... as there is so much to see you'd want to be there early anyway...

Many thanks for all those who attended this weekends Southern Expo model show. We will be donating £4,000 ( ) to the St Francis Hospice which is local to this area this year. For those of you who missed the show but would like sets of either of the Hornchurch v Luftwaffe decals we've produced (see postings above for links to the artwork) please contact me via a PM, stocks of both 1/72nd and 1/48th are still available, as are the 3D-Kits Spitfire IIa conversion sets. Prices for the decals are £7.50 each which includes P+P in the UK. |
