Back when I was around 13 years old I used to visit Curborough Sprint Track near Lichfield on a Sunday afternoon to watch the sprint racing. There used to be a gentleman called Tom Hammond who had two Audi Quattro swb S1's, one was a genuine road going car and the other was a replica he built that would be raced on the track. Now if any one had ever been to see the Groupe B rallying then they will know how spectacular these cars are..... Anyway..... I started this build at the Automodelismo show at Castle Donnington, I took the Tamiya Audi Quattro and litterally cut it in half and glued it back together with a bit missing lol. So here is my progress so far of the replica im building.

Never saw them in real life but I used to love them on TV and when they were banned from rallying and turned up at Rallycross with RS200's and Metro 6R4's it was fantastic! Looks like some quick progress (as usual!). Looking forward to updates on this one.
