Back when I was around 13 years old I used to visit Curborough Sprint Track near Lichfield on a Sunday afternoon to watch the sprint racing.
There used to be a gentleman called Tom Hammond who had two Audi Quattro swb S1's, one was a genuine road going car and the other was a replica he built that would be raced on the track.
Now if any one had ever been to see the Groupe B rallying then they will know how spectacular these cars are.....
Anyway.....
I started this build at the Automodelismo show at Castle Donnington, I took the Tamiya Audi Quattro and litterally cut it in half and glued it back together with a bit missing lol.
So here is my progress so far of the replica im building.
