Hi. This forum sure looks like it is going to be a great place to be. I need help with some writing on an M26 Pershing. Here is the link and I would really like to know what is written on the front right skirt. I can't make out the letters and/or numbers you help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry it is a link to a model on another site I just happened across. hsfeatures.com/m26sb_1.htm

I've attempted to enlarge the image but unforunately, there's no way the decal set can be read. However, I did notice this comment from the modeller concerned ...
This model was built straight from the box and finished using kit supplied markings for vehicle #10 from Echo Company, 67th Armor Rgt, 2nd Armored Div. April 1945. I would suggest writing to the modeller via the site and asking if extra decal sets were used.

Thanks for the reply. I did email him but he never replied. I was hoping someone might have a digital camera that they could take a macro picture of the decal or even just write it out for me.

IIRC that was a decal that is in the kit he built. Do you not have the kit? What are you wanting the text for?

Ive dug my M26 kit out from deep storage & the decal reads thus, I think PREPARED BY L.T.D. MOTOR TREATED AXS 934 GASOLINE TANKS DRAINED BO LBS. DR1-0-CCI. AMMUNITION RACKS DRY DRY BATTERIES DISCONNECTED MARCH 1 1945 D.Y.M.COMPLETED AS PER ISSUE NO 5 DATED 1/1/45 ANTI-FREEZE INSTALLED At least thats what I think it says ;D Cheers, Steve
