March 19th / 20th, The NOTTINGHAM East Midlands MODEL RAILWAY EXHIBITION is one of the premier model railway events in the UK and, with over 19,000 square feet, it’s one of the largest too !
The event will feature outstanding examples of one of today’s most popular, creative hobbies. The show is a must for the whole family, and not just for the thousands of keen model railway enthusiasts who travel to Nottingham, from far and wide, each year; nor even just for boys large and small (and their dads too, of course). There is plenty to interest everyone - including mums and daughters too ! The models will depict scenes from the late nineteenth century, right up to the present day; from the glorious days of steam, to the modern diesels and electrics of today.
Oh, Ian Sadler, Fatty and me will be there aswell, they keep asking us to come to the show and to bring Wallace & Gromit, and a few other bits and pieces. So, Harvey Hadden Sports Complex, Bilborough Park, Wigman Road, NG8 4PB.

I'd just like to reiterate what Ian said. We were were made to feel really welcome once again and we also had several folks come over and ask about membership of the IPMS, now that's a good sign of the hobby being active. Another comment worth note is the weathering on Paul's trucks, several railway modellers came up and said that they wish they could learn his skills ... well done mate. I'd also like to thank Paul Findon for picking me up both days on his way in and Ian for looking after me all weekend with coffee, good company and an excellent show, looking forward to next year hopefully.
