Has this magazine folded? It seems ages since the last issue appeared in WHSmiths in the UK.
Does anyone have any further news?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
They asked me to do an article for them and when I sent it to them last month I received this e-mail:
James - many thanks for the CDs sent but please see info below
Dear contributor / supporter,
Issue 15 of Max Modeller will sadly be the last for the foreseeable future . After over a year of production the projected sales from all sources have fallen short of the required targets, and as AFV Modeller Ltd is a small independent company we cannot sustain any regular losses and need to put the publication on hold.
It has been a pleasure as Editor meeting and working with so many new people who are passionate about the hobby, I'd like to thank all of you for the input given with your articles and hope you enjoyed seeing them in print. Apologies to you all who have submitted work which hasn't yet been published, please feel free obviously to submit the articles to any other publications who may be interested.
I'll continue working with the team at AFV Modeller on both AFV and AIR Modeller and also some exciting new books we're planning in future.
Again, many thanks for your support. Best wishes for the New Year.
Kind regards Mark Neville ________________________________________ It is a shame as they were making a good stab at producing a general model building magazine. However, with FSM, Tamyia Model Magazine, the specialist magazines along with the launch of Airfix Magazine they were fighting in a small market so it was a big ask for it to be successful. The website is out of date and needs to be sorted.
I think the time I spent on my article will be wasted as a hot rod article appeared in Airfix magazine recently and, although its a different project, it is very similar to the my article in IPMS (UK) last year.
Cheers,
