Just to let everyone know that this show will be on this year. Rather than see the show disappear from the calendar, Ian Hartup has kindly allowed me to put the show on at a new venue. I've kept the show at the same time of year, and the general content will be the same. The show will be on Sunday 31st July 2011, opening it's doors at 10:00 The venue is Hanslope Villiage Hall, MK19 7NZ just north of Milton Keynes. I will be getting in touch with all those that attended last year. But anyone that is interested in either a Trade, Club Display space or further information, please get in touch with me at: show@little-cars.co.uk Door entry price will be £2, there is plenty of free parking and the venue will be taking care of the catering for the whole day. All profits from the show will go to the up keep of the Hall. Thanks, Paul Fitzmaurice

awwww i don't think we will make it this year especially as Paul will have driven from Aberdeen to Tamworth on the Saturday, it may be a little too much for him to then drive to milton keynes the following day.

Hi, Just an update to the show. Have been along to measure up today, so will be contacting those who are exhibiting in the next week or so. Finding traders who fit into specialist markets is difficult. So the traders are the moment are; Model For sale - selling plastic kits Mat Irvine - selling second hand plastic kits little-cars - selling tools accessoires and kits, mainly 1/43rd multimedia. Plus the goodies that I'm sure you'll find with the club displays. There is a new webpage for the show; www.hamex.co.uk/Automodellismo/Automodellismo.htmlIf anyone else would like club or trader space, please get in touch in the next week before we finalise the floorplan. Thanks, Paul

Hi,
Final preperation for the show now going on. Will be contacting clubs in the next couple of days to confirm everything.
We are hoping for a dry day, we have four full size exhibits planned for the car park at the front of the venue.

Excellent turnout of clubs for the 'Automodellismo' model show at Hanshope Village Hall yesterday. The catering was superb and the bacon cob? ... thanks ladies, done just right! Congratulations to the Motor Museum in Miniature: www.facebook.com/pages/The-Motor-Museum-in-Miniature/142521792489129 for their best club award, well deserved, although the competition had to be seen to be believed.

Hi Nick,
Many thanks for joining us for the day. There was a reasonable cross section of the hobby on display.
I'm glad it wasn't me judging the best display, I left it to Mat Irvine and John from the hall committee.
I haven't had any negative feedback so far, but we are looking to improve the show for next year (as long as the hall people want us back), so any feedback gratefully received.
Counting the youngsters, I think we had just over 100 through the door throughout the day.
We think we raised between £300 and £400 for the up keep of the hall, (which is more than we raise from HaMeX), so I'm hoping we will be asked back next year.
Many thanks for everyone that made the day a sucess.
