Jet canopy frames

Hi All,

I have noticed for some time that military jets have a yellow outline around the cockpit frame. Where these aren't provided as decals in the kit, which is the best way to do them, or do they have to be done free-hand.

Freehand if your hand is steady and your eyes are good. There are other methods such as masking and either painting freehand or airbrush. You can also use one of the fine tipped acrylic pens.

I havenot tried this with the yellow lines but I have 'done' canopy frames by spraying the appropriate coloured paint on to decal film and then cutting very thin strips off to use as framing.
