Hi all for a long term build i needed to make a tin bath . Since they come in all sizes and shapes I went for a simple oblong one , that my gran used to bath the kids in pre war. It ended up being used to dolly the washing years later . I started with the basic shape cut from 60th plastic card . Then I bonded aluminium sheet on both sides and when the super glue had set I cut out the final shape . The sides was just a strip of aluminium sheet bent and glued round the base . The handle was bent from fuse wire . Scale size it worked out a 5ft by 18 in wide and a 12 in high , see photo cheers ian

Very nicely made Ian, looks great. I can just remember seeing these hung on the outside toilet wall in the back yard. Wonder what this long term project is that needs a tin bath? Intriguing....
