Hi Guys, my names Les, my main interest is trying to build ww2 ships but I also have a go at buiding anything thats a reasonable price! on the bench at the mo all part built are a Flower Class Corvette, a Daplo city of Truro locomotive, a Tamiya Panzer Kampfwagen 1V Ausf.D and a Jotika kit HMS Brig Badger (note to, self finish something before starting anything else) regards Les

Welcome to the forum Les. Flower Class Corvette eh? ... one day I'll have a go at that kit, I wonder what it would take to build it as a Trawler? ... I love a challenge. Oh that note to yourself to finish something before you start something else ... nah, that's boring.

Hi Les, and welcome to the forum from a fellow resident of Bristol - well almost, I'm in Yate (home of the finest one-day show on the circuit which this year is on the 21st August at the Yate Leisure Centre as usual). Had you thought about coming along to your local branch, IPMS Avon? You may be the one Les I have on the books (I'm membership admin wallah), but if not do consider coming along and saying hello, we have one or two others who dabble in ships. PM me for further details if you like, or see www.ipmsavon.org.uk/Meets/Meets.phpCheers, Mike PS - Please forgive the shameless plug for the show, but you don't blame me really do you?

Hello Southsix1, your right, it is boring finishing things before starting something else but at the rate I go nothing will ever get built!
Hi Mike, yes you've guessed right, I am a recent new member of Avon IPMS.
