Hello David and welcome to the Forum. 1/24 boats and landing craft, interesting scale for such large craft, I look forward to seeing some of your work on here.

Hi David
Sounds like an interesting link between the two. I am assuming that the 1/24 vehicles include the venerable willies jeeps amongst others. Will be waiting out to hear and see more about your work.
I take it the landing craft will be scratchbuilt and using combinations of balsa and plastic. What are the sources of the plans you have for them? I have plans for a landing craft that can be motorized too somewhere in the shed. Are yours radio controlled?
You have to get plenty pics up of your completed work and builds.
Where about in Scotland are you? I am in Stirling..
All the best
Nige

David, to my knowledge there is a Landing Craft SIG already operational within the IPMS. I've contacted the Branch / SIG Liaison Officer Phil Cater for details. EDIT ... The leader of the Landing Craft SIG is Allan Hill: allenhill4@ntlworld.com
