www.thewarandpeaceshow.com/Ian Sadler and I will be making the trip as usual to the largest military event in Europe. We'll have display space once again in the model marquee as from Wednesday July 21st through until the show ends on Sunday July 26th. If you're attending the show and have a military model you're proud of and would like to display it, bring it with you and let others admire it. The tables are never left unattended so your exhibit will be nice and safe. We look forward to meeting all the usual suspects and hopefully a few new faces. Should you be unable to attend and are interested in a particular vehicle or military item and need a photograph or three for reference, just let me know and if possible, I'll try and photograph it for you.

Hi Nick
I would be keen to get a good external and where possible internal walk around photos of a Bedford TM 8 Tonner or 14 Tonner if you see one about.
Also if the owner happens to be about, if they would be prepared to pass on an e-mail contact so that I could discuss any copies of chassis and bodywork drawings they may have in workshop manuals.
Big ask I know, but if poss !!!!!!!!!!!
Look forward to seeing any pics you do get and green with envy you get to these events. The sounds and smells must be fantastic.
Enjoy
Nige

Hi Nick
I have the KFS cab to work with and I am hoping to do a GS body of either 4 X 4 or 6 X 6. Not so keen on the flat bed with the HIAB, though any access to chassis pics and close up detailing will be helpful.
I try to take my two coloured measuring sticks (1m each) to events so that I can place them on the vehicles to act as reference sizes. I had them with me at the Military Day a couple of weeks ago but there were not so many vehicles there this year.
Obviously the chances of getting to see a TM up close and measure it now are going to be few and far between up here as they getting replaced very quickly now and not got contacts for anybody that has one.
The new 4 X 4 MANS that did arrive were there at the end to pack up and I would have been chased for getting in their way. Also ran out of memory space on camera.
I am going to put a few of my selections of walk arounds on the Britmodeller site at some point when I can.
Anything you can get would be appreciated.
Cheers
Nige
