Hi Dave (Thanks Nick ) The Revell DTM kits are very detailed and some may say over engineered. Short of stealing Ian's thunder, he built the Tom Kristensen Audi OOB for the new Airfix magazine. They do need some thinking about when painting, all those winglets can get in the way, but a builder of your caliber can handle it ;D. final panel fit can be a little testing too. I have the Scheider version with a view to practicing a paint job and apparently the Revell paint mix call outs are pretty good too. HTH? Rich

Nice kits if you take heed of the instructions, clean up and paint each part individually and concentrate on the assembly sequence.

Revell Germany are turning out some really lovely high quality car kits now. Every bit as good as Gunze, Tamiya or Fujimi. I was looking at their new 1/24th scale Ferrari GTO kit and was very impressed. The moulded wire wheels in this kit are the finest I have ever seen in a plastic kit. That fine that you will not need photo etched for this kit!

Hi Guys, well i have bought two of these kits, the Ralf Schumacker, and the Garry Paffett kits, and believe me im really impressed, plenty of detail, great decals, and above all excellent quality mouldings, especially the body no mould marks noticed as yet. Im hopeing to have one finished for the nationals, it will be a straight oob build. which issue of the Airfix mag is Ians build in as i would love to get hold of it knowing how good he is im sure i could learn something.
