Lightning F-5B 1/72 conversion and colors

Hi guys,

This May my flying instructor Keith Durbidge passed away at the age of 89..Keith got me to read the late Tony Spooner's book on his CO at the time the famous Adrian Warburton! (That was a few years ago and I still need to build Keith's Spit MK XI..)

Now finally I am about to embark on a wee project to build Warby's last a/c an F-5B S.N 42-67325 from the 7th PRG at mount Farm 1944. I am looking to purchase a 1/72 resin nose conversion to either Airfix P-38J or the old Revell kit..

I am also interested on paint job for the above mentioned a/c..If you have any info and access to a nose conversion please get in touch. I am based in the Arabian Desert just now but will be visiting hame in Aberdeen and will attend Telford in Oct. and Nov. time

There's a DB resin F-5A conversion on fleabay just now but I guess that's not near enough ?
