Finally bitten the bullet and joined IPMS.
Been building models for longer than I care to remember but in many fits and starts due to the wife taking up valuable modelling space. Not due to her size I might add, but due to the female habit of not being able to leave any flat space unoccupied by flowers or general clutter.
Solved the problem by building a 12 x 10 modelling workshop and library in the back garden. I have now completed three models in three weeks - a task which would have taken another six months under the previous conditions.
I build mostly 32nd and 24th scale aircraft although I also dabble in 1 to 1 scale re-building in the form of a 1944 C47 Dakota currently at my base at RAF Shawbury. Polystyrene cement doesn't work too well here though!

Welcome to the forum Rob and I look forward to seeing your work here at some point. I hope you manage to get to Scale Modelworld in November, if you've never been before, you simply won't believe it!
