i started with a 1/24 mustang convertable, i then removed the roof from a slightly smaller (1/25) amt mustang, i quartered it and added spacers to give me the correct size, then fitted it to the shell. did not want to build the amt kit as shell was poor and would have looked small next to my other historic touring cars. have now painted the body with halfords, vauxhall arden blue, added stripes and some decals. it has had a coat of tamiya clear to seal it. it is a ficticious scheme, but the car is of the type that would be found racing in the u.k. and europe today. Attachments:

hello rich, i sent you an e mail about joining your sig. can you please let me know what sort of things the group does, and relevent costs etc. i only really do racing cars, not f1, all new to this group, but i would like to boost the model car attendance at telford. p.s. loved your wallace and grommett feature in airfix mag ( i think thats where it was) richie griffiths.
