Hi all , I had to make some mud for a model , I only needed a small amount . So it was not worth buying a special mud paint accessory .
Tools needed a large course flat file , sprue and a container . Method rub the sprue on the file over the container to collect the plastic dust .
To use, select the area to have mud added and put a small amount of liquid polly glue on and sprinkle the plastic dust onto the area. Leave to set then repeat the method till you build up the area of mud to your liking. The final layer should be grainy. As with all new tips try out on scrap item first . I have done this and the result will be posted up tommorrow night .
Then just prime and paint in normal way with mud colours . cheers ian
