Hi Guys i was just wondering where you guys get these fittings from, i have looked at Hiroboys site but can only find the expensive metal fittings, i have a 1/24 scale Porsche 956 to do and would like to super detail the engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I get my detail master fittings from the states - but you would probably count these as expensive metal fittings.
I haven't tried it myself yet but some people say a good way to go is to use hex rod - spray it silver and then tint with clear red and blue paint to get your a/n fittings. For fittings that are metal Testors rattle can polished aluminium buffable metaliser paint would be pretty good.

Metal fittings aside.......For a cheap source of braided fuel lines, go to an electronics store and get very thin diameters of screened cable. Strip off the outside plastic insulation to expose the braided screening underneath.
