Tamiya Porsche 956

H i Guys, im currently building, this model alongside the Ford GT,
but im wondering why it has two seats as all my ref pics show only one, im certainly not going to hack it around and will be leaving the seating as is. But would like to know if this is correct for this car, im building the cannon version, and have the Kenwood version to do as well again we have two seats. Any advice or help would be much appreciated.

I think it's a question of a good Google session. I have John Allen's Porsche 956/962 book and it's inconclusive. I think the earlier cars did but the later ones possibly not, nor the 962.

I found this which suggests they did, but it's difficult to say whether is typical for race prep'd cars...



I'm sure there are many with better knowledge than me out there
