This subject has probably been covered before, though I could find nothing via the Search. Does anyone out there know of a 1:35 Duplex Drive Sherman kit or accessories that can be added to a Sherman build to convert into a DD? My budget does not stretch to the Resicast model.

Unfortunately not. There have been suggestions that one of the major plastic manufacturers is looking at doing one but on the basis of past experience I think this is a case of wishful thinking on the part of the rumour-mongers. I'd love one in plastic but I'm not going to hold my breath. Inevitably it would be the 'wrong' variant - an American rather than a British one or vice versa  Regards, John |

I did say 'or vice versa' My preference would definitely be for a Sherman V DD since I could build a Staffordshire Yeomanry example. Regards, John (residing in deepest, darkest Staffordshire) |

I managed to pick up the Resicast DD on Ebay a few months ago. They do crop up so keep an eye open there.
