John Mills film was 'The Valiant' Paul Actually I was wrong in that the film I was thinking of was The Silent Enemy with Lawrence Harvey (and one Sid James). H

Somewhere I have a Verlinden 1/12th Alsatian! Question is how much resin do you have to carve from it to get to a Whippet.
I'm considering a Diorama at present.
Also for the 'Goes to the Movies' theme we should have the completed Wallace as Steve McQueen from Le Mans replete with 'Martini' sponsored A35. I'm looking to widen, lower and stretch the basic kit to achieve the Porsche 917 look.

What is the name of the John Mills film about British Operations against the Italians in the Med. The Italians had a ship with a hole in it for access to the sea or some such!

I wonder if Gromit would fit in there, in scuba gear? No but a pair of Kamikaze Bunnies do! These machines were supplied by the Italians to the Nippon Nibblers elite Kamikaze unit operating against Allied shipping on the Rochdale canal. Sunk one coal barge and seriously damaged a brace of Pit Ponies which had strayed in to the front line. Eventually put out of action following a raid on their HQ by a unit from the SWS (Special Whippet Service) H

As for the Mialie, possibly painted red with prancing horse emblems proudly displayed fore and aft (note the nautical terms?) ;D Funny you should say that but... Prancing horses are highly probable

I've got the kit coming soon. Apparently it is very nice and easy to build and just about quirky enought for me!

Three or four internal bulkheads and a very sensible construction sequence serve to keep it very strong.
