Hi Wolf
Do you have a good source for Ironside kits at all, please?

And weighs in at the same as a sack of spuds (25 kg) and is about 6 feet long when built!! I know someone who's bought one...I'll get some photos of when he brings it to the next Club meeting.

They're not on the Cammett website as yet. The man did say that the sets were 2 weeks away from being ready as they were still working on the instruction sheets. The rear radome plugs into the rear fuselage and is cast around a foam core to prevent tailsitting. The forward radome is hollow cast to allow sufficient ballast to be added to keep the aircraft on its undercarriage. Both have the ribbed detail moulded on them. There will be no decal sheet included. My only concern is will the nose leg stand up to the weight?

There was a Nimrod AEW conversion for sale at Cosfrod yesterday. It was priced at £25 and very nice it looked too. The man selling it was telling everyone that it will be available from the end of next week.

Mike Grant Decals do these as a sheet if you fancy an alternative.

With regards to Alfie's reply I found that you do not need the right click to copy. When I tried it I got "copied" indication as soon as I left clicked to select it. I've found that Photobucket does that since I posted my original reply. Nice to see a customer friendly piece of software upgrade for once. ;D Alfie

I think the MOD got some other geezer to model the new 'roundel' wear. I only look good (! ) in blue though. I am retired...sort of. Too late....too many pizzas, beer, choccie bars, general good living. you name it......... er...steady now, Big Boy, or are you finally coming out of the closet? ;D ;D ;D Alfie

I struggled too, but... 1. Go to your Photobucket Album 2. Select your image 3. Left mouse click on IMG Code (bottom option of the 3) and make sure that it's highlighted 4. Right mouse click and select copy 5. Go to your IPMS Forum thread 6. Right mouse click and select paste. QED Just like this.......... (Ctrl C is the keyboard shortcut for copy and Ctrl V for paste - both keys have to be activated for it to happen but not simultaneously) Alfie

You could try this. I've not tried it myself, but I've seen it recommended in modelling articles: www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=MSFILMIf you're using the NOVO version of the FROG kit, then they were notorious for disintegrating on contact with water. Alternatively, you could try the decal bank or the marketplace for replacements as they're quite common still. Regards, Alfie
