You may have seen this news elsewhere on t'internet, but Argos has stock of the new 1/32 Hawk. It's in the catalogue as a Red Arrows model set and the code is 267/2027 - the price is £18.99. I got mine today in Melton Mowbray - now which decal sheet(s) to go for? Definitely the ones with tiger's heads, so that'll be expensive then. ;D

Hi
Sorry for not replying sooner, but life has got in the way for the past 4 weeks. There's no 1/24 scale option that I'm aware of. However, I'm still working on this, but my best guess at present would be to copy from a 1/48 scale kit that includes a jet engine (just double the measurements).

Aeroclub used to do a 1/144 set that was advertised as being suitable for the Bristol Freighter or Airspeed Ambassador. So, I guess that the props from the Airfix kit would be suitable. I've been unable to find out anything else definitive so far.

Hi Rolf I'll see what I can do with the cutaway scan. www.bookfinder.com came up with several available copies of the book mentioned in the review. Regards, Alfie

My card got tested too this week. A small payment of a couple of quid to somewhere in the SW. Luckily, my provider noticed and blocked the charge. I got home tonight to a message on the answering machine requesting me to contact them immediately as a matter of urgency. The card is now cancelled. When this first kicked off, I checked my statements for irregularities and found none. I thought that I was safe, but it would seem that everyone is vulnerable - so if you've used your card at Hannants, I strongly urge you to cancel it ASAP or sooner.
