I'm reliably told that the vehicle is an ATMP (All Terrain Mobility Platform) driven by rockapes (RAF slang for RAF Regiment chaps - stalwart fellows every one of them!!). See the Gallery here www.supacat.com/products/defence/atmp/atmp-gallery/Nick - now don't get too excited over the fire engine version ;D Regards, Alfie

Hi Please follow this link and I think that it will answer most of your questions www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-coventry-warwickshire-15964672 (Red 3 & Red 5 are mentioned near the bottom of the report). The 2012 team will probably not be publicly announced until the display season starts next year and the RAF has to print a new Red Arrows guide book. Regards, Alfie

Hi
I've received a bit of correspondence on this issue. The primary information sources are the books: British Research and Development Aircraft and British Experimental Jet Aircraft. Both give the colour as overall gloss royal blue. National markings appeared on the lower wing only and were outlined in silver as were the serial numbers. Wheel wells were matt black. There is an article on ARC that uses the Classic Airframes Attacker kit as the starting point - he used Mr Color Cobalt Blue.

Hi Please come along and join in with the Ruttles. IPMS Rutland has moved its meetings to Exton Village Hall (next to the Fox & Hounds pub). We meet every third Tuesday of the month for a couple of hours (8-10 pm) in the aforementioned Hall. Tea and coffee are provided as long as you give a £1 to the Treasurer to cover the hire cost of the Hall and the brew makings. We're a friendly bunch and we welcome all standards and modelling preferences. If other local Branches want to visit, then please get in touch with myself or Jeremy Hall www.rutnet.co.uk/pp/club/detail.asp?id=1886Regards, Alfie

Hi Due to the imminent closure of RAF Cottesmore and because we're no longer able to use the military classrooms, IPMS Rutland are moving their meeting venue with immediate effect. As of the 19th May (we meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month) we will be using Exton Village Hall (near the Fox & Hounds pub at LE15 8AP). Please see our website for further details web.me.com/davevans/Site/Welcome.htmlRegards, Alfie

Hi
I'm a little confused as I can only see the thread title. What's the question, please?
