Jim Take a look on this page and move from here around the site. I think you will find all you need on here? Next you need to find a UK based seller, Antics are one but there are otehrs. Hope that helps? Rich

Many thanks for the interest and info. Those elbows are EXACTLY what I`m looking for. I`ve checked Antics but can`t see them listed. There are loads of stockists but none (that I`ve yet found) in the UK. At least I now have my answer, now it`s just a case of getting hold of some. Thanks again.

I`ve made a start and although it`s obviously going to be a hybrid (as per usual) it remains true to scale, the dimensions being taken directly from a manufacturers spec sheet.

When you lengthen the chassis like that, how do you make sure that it's strong enough? Do you rely on the bodywork to do it, or do you put strengtheners in?

I always use internal strip to join the sections then add channel section to the outside. This not only gives a flush finish but also doubles up on the strength of the joint.

Hi, A few weeks have passed and I`ve reached an opportune stage to offer an update. Although the body is almost complete, I fear that the worst is yet to come. The jib and pipework look like they are going to be a bit of a beast.
