Hello Rolf, Thanks also for the welcome and the kind words about Aufklärer which are much appreciated. Well I am looking to come over to the UK sometime this year so SMW 08 would definitely be a possibility as it would give me the chance to meet up with friends & colleagues that I haven't seen for a few years (and spend more than I should on kits!! ). Cheers Dave

Hi Rolf,
Those are two good titles that you've ordered as the authors really know their material. Not much recce stuff in Biscay but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with what you'll find in Wekusta.
Incidentally, I haven't forgotten about the Do 215 stuff and will be sending you some subject info over this weekend.
Freundliche Grüße von Kanada
Dave

Hi All Allied Wings No. 2, Martin Marauder Mk I, Phil Listemann Edited by the Author, 2008, ISBN 2-9526381-6-0 www.raf-in-combat.com Soft cover, stapled, 58 Pages, 42 fotos b/w, 6 colour side views Phil Listemann charts the history of the short-wing Marauders in service with Nr. 14 Sqd RAF with a short intro to the a/c and an extensive operational record of this “armed reconnaissance” unit in the Mediterranean 1942-1944. Technical data, claim list, list of losses, extensive serial register, roll of honor and the well written and structured text make for interesting reading and will serve those interested in research. The pictures are of good quality if sometimes a little small. Some pictures, the colour side views and his research will help the modeler interested in recce AND the Marauder. R.B. 05/2008

By Any Means Necessary by William E Burrows published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux in 2001 ISBN: 0-374-11747-0
The Price of Vigilance by Larry Tart and Robert Keefe published by The Ballantine Publishing Group in 2001 ISBN: 0-8041-1911-2

Goodness,
It has been a little while since I had a look through this thread...
There are some very interesting sounding books/articles etc.....
My dream list of what to get looks to be about £350 at the moment.
A couple of thoughts have sprung to mind....
Dare I say this? Anybody got 'scans' they would be prepared to share via sending CD's....?
Feel free to email me.....
Any interest in me putting all these books onto one post/document, for ease of printing off, for future reference...?
Colin
