Gavia are basically one of the Eduard brands. Alas, I've not seen a Lysander available other than second-hand for a while. I do have their La-7 in my stash, and it's a nice kit, as is the Lysander from what I've heard. Good luck finding one - if you find more than you want, let me know.

Luke,
More armour is fine!
Bearing in mind Recce theme. I have got Fennek and was thinking of trying to do German one, possibly as in Afghanistan. Slightly different.
Any ideas of other armour, that you want to have a go at?

Dennis; have you received my mail and do you think you might be able to unearth more on the Valiant recce cradle ?
Rolf [/quote]
Hi Rolf and All,
Rolf - got your mail, will get back soonest.
Julien - got TF-8 conv kit, did you get my PM?.
Winsock Data File on AW FK8 has arrived - have sourced new supplier of plastic card - from a Stone Masons emporium in Dundee !, have started to cut plastic for FK8
Anybody any ideas where I can get good drawings of AW Atlas?
Assisting with future article in modelling mag on early Harriers at present - Lysander progressing slowly therefore.
Dennis

Hello Colin, hope all is well, wont be able to do the 1/48 RAF Pahntom as promised but 1/48 Mustang Ia (in desert scheme) had been started and I can feel an all white MR Lancaster (11/72) coming on - sound ok to you ? May even pair with a 1/72 MR Halifax I have that needs building (may as well use the whole can of Halfords Appliance White) !

Just secured one of the (rare and dear over here) Hase Lancs "post war" and ordered the xtradecal - but would rather do a completely white one, even if I had to buy another version... Tensely awaiting more info..... Rolf

Hi All, Alan, Colin & Jon.
Jon: thanks for the mail - looking fwd to pics & scan ! Recommend shortening the Matchbox Halifax cockpit as recommended by Falcon - does much to improve the look of the model.
Alan: thks for the tip - mea culpa - had not checked the Hase kit instructions yet - All hopes fulfilled - planning to do the PLAIN white MR III - just imagine a Lanc in Cinderella garment ! !
Colin: see above - but don't expect that all white lady too soon - see below !
Intend finishing the ICM Dornier 215 B-4 first, then on to Mach2 Valiant B(PR) 1 and Airfix Vulcan MRR, both planned for SMW08.
And to dad1 - heaps of thanks for the avalanche of info on the Valiant !

JonB, Made a note, added them to list for display.....cant wait, sounds good..... Rolf, What can I say, ...look forward to your models, Dornier 215 B-4, if it is anything like your other Lutwaffe models cannot wait to see it. Valiant and Vulcan, oh you tempt me, look forward to seeing them in the flesh......How about a "V" bomber PR display...... Chuck in one of your Victors? How about the rest of you....? I'm aiming for 2 Squadron line up with Dennis, and others, could be good, 1914-2007................. Let alone, AEW line up with Ian, am doing Nimrod R1... Julien, Hows the balloon coming..? Sorry If I have been a bit quiet of recent, but I am back. This year will be an interesting display.......particularly sharing with Avon Branch. They have some interesting builds on the way......... Will try and let you know more soon............ Luke, I have not forgotten you! Still going to do Fennek! Hope for more of your work this year.............Got much interest last year.......how about an armour display centre stage this year? ? Love to hear your views.... Colin

Colin,
If nothing goes wrong I should be able to bring the trio of (recce) V-bombers -
and depending on space or theme I can also offer Halifax Met V and/or Shak MR II.
Jonb:
many thanks for scan and info on white Lanc MR III - pm to follow.

Luke,
Yes, if you want to display them again......
Hopefully you are going to be joined by some other Armour models...
And not just my Fennek...
Roger,
What ghastly news.....did it literally blow completely off the roof? and take flight? You'll have to do the Mitchell now... Arado 234 sounds interesting too.......in 1/32??? Wow that'll be a beast...
